Bietina*: a magic plant

Hidden properties of bietina.
Some months ago, being tired of eating always salad, I decided to get some
vegetables and to cook them.
At the supermarket a tiny vegetable in a cellophane wrapping excited my
curiosity: on the label it was written 'Bietina', nothing else.
Perhaps bietina is in relation to Swiss chards like little calves are to cows.
That very evening I cooked it for about twenty minutes and then, as I am
absent-minded, I forgot the whole thing and the vegetable
steeped all night long.
The following day I noticed pitiful little leaves in a lot of dirty water.
If that 'terrible water' had devoured the major part of my bietina,
I had not thrown it away of course. Who knows … perhaps it could relieve some
troublesome symptoms of urinary tracts that sometimes let us meditate about
the coming old age. I tasted it. Hem … not so bad .. it had a neutral taste,
not too sweet nor too bitter, as I could expect.
Well, if you believe it or not, it had an effect since the very first day …
with a pleasant after-effect.
"Staying out of the way is as valuable as leading the way".
(Hi Ari, wherever you are).
As Wittgenstein wrote: "Es ist klar, daß Ethik sich nicht aussprechen läßt".
(In English it would be: "It is clear you cannot express ethics by words").

*Little Swiss chards.
